2 Corinthians 4:16-18
"Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
A good perspective to keep...
Day by day, we are being RENEWED on the inside. When we die, what will we take with us? What will count? Where do we spend most of our time... nurturing the materials that will burn and rot away, and that will not accompany us to Heaven, or practicing and bearing fruit that will produce for us treasure in Heaven?

Somedays I feel the rotting from the inside, and it's those days I'm most thankful for the renewing of Christ.
amen and amen... it's refreshing to the entire body mind and spirit when we dwell on and with the Spirit... and alas vice versa. Important important important to remember our Sustainer.
